Instructions:
- Click on the link above, and download xcelerator to your desktop.
- Find the psnw_xcel.exe icon on your desktop and double-click on it.
- The installation screen will display. Simply, click through the screens as prompted until the installation process is complete.
- If you have the old version installed you may be prompted to uninstall it first. If so, click the ok button.
- After install you will be prompted to reboot, click the “Yes” button.
- Xcelerator will automatically connect after you dialup to the Internet.

Will Xcelerator speed everything up?
Xcelerator will speed up text and graphics on some web pages. You will notice a faster experience browsing, sending and receiving emails and many other web-based activities while using Xcelerator. However, Xcelerator does not currently speed up file downloads or streaming media.

How fast is Xcelerator really?
The speed will depend on how high your compression settings are as well as the speed of your modem. It will vary from computer to computer but you will notice a greatly improved performance when performing web-based activities.

How does it Xcelerate the web?
Xcelerator speeds up your Internet access by utilizing proprietary text and image compression. It also uses caching and network optimizations.

Will my e-mail speed up?
YES! Xcelerator does speed up both sending and receiving of e-mails. It will work with any POP3/SMTP client, including Outlook Express, Eudora and Netscape Mail. This feature disabled by default.

Will Xcelerator affect secure server (HTTPS) functions, like online banking?
Unfortunately, no it does not. However the secure server (HTTPS) functions will function normally and bypass the Xcelerator program.

What exactly will it speed up?
First and foremost Xcelerator will speed up your web browsing experience. It uses proprietary compression to speed up text, html, xml, JavaScript, style sheets, gif images, jpeg images, Flash content ,email traffic.

How do I use it with Internet Explorer?
Just like you normally would use Internet Explorer! Xcelerator runs in the background and needs no user intervention. It starts when you turn on your computer!
